SCRATCHINGS POSTED Te Monanui, who went down a bit short in his Auckland Cup preliminary, was sore after the race, and has been sent home. He was withdrawn from all his engagements on Tuesday. Raasay and Flying Juliet are also out of their remaining engagements. Satrap was scratched for the Auckland Cup at 10.21 a.m. on the day of the race. The following are the course scratchings and times of horses withdrawn from the Electric Handicap at Ellerslie on Wednesday: Aussie, 11.28 a.m.; Nancy Lee, 2.10 p.m.; Money Order, 1.45 p.m.; Joy King, 11.15 a.m.: Automne, 2.40 p.m.; Prince Otto. 12.30 p.m.; and Sir Archie at mid-day.
