VICTORIA LEAGUE
AN AT HOME A number of members of th© Victoria League’s various centres \v r ere the guests of honour at an “At Home” held in the Auckland League rooms yesterday afternoon. Miss J. A. Mowbray, the president, expressed a cordial welcome to the visitors, and to all who were present she wished the compliments of the season. Tho rooms were charmingly decorated with bowls of bright flowers, and a dainty tea was served. A welcome was also extended to members of the league who had recently returned from England. The guests of honour included Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. McCarthy Reid, Mrs. Godfrey, Mrs. Greenwood, Mrs. Alexander, Mrs. Eliot Davis, Mrs. Lloyd and Miss Chard.
