RIALTO AND REGENT, EPSOM
“THE MUSIC MASTER” There are no plays like the old plays, that stir the pulses and awaken deep emotions, and “The Music Master” is even finer to-day than it used to be. Under the intelligent direction of Allan Dwan it has been made into a beautiful production, carefully cast, and perfect in every detail of costume and setting. The scenes are laid in the New York of 1900. With simplicity and fine feeling, the old story is told again of Anton Van Barwig, who left a brilliant career in Vienna to follow his wife to America, where she had gone with another man, taking with her his little daughter. Alec. Francis plays the role of the music master with sympathy and fine feeling. Charles Lane is adequate as the other man, and lovely Lois Moran is exquisite in the role of the daughter. Others included in the splendid cast are Neil Hamilton, Marcia Harris. Helen Chandler, Norman Trevor, and Kathleen Kerrigan.
