« HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENTS Another splendid jazz evening is promised to-night at Lixieland Cabaret, Point Chevalier. Lancing is to continue till midnight. A special programme has been arranged by the management for New Year’s Eve, when it is confidently expected that one of the finest night’s entertainment of the year will be provided. Novelties and favours will take a prominent place on the programme. There is dancing daily at Lixieland during the holiday season. Patrons may sit on the balcony overlooking the sea and be served with afternoon tea between dances. Facilities for swimming are also provided. The cabaret can be reached from the city in only ten minutes by car or tsventy minutes by tram and bus.
