AUCKLAND CARNIVAL CONTINUES

THE Auckland trotting carnival will be continued at Alexandra Park to-morrow, when another excellent card will be presented. Good fields with thrilling racing are assured and lovers of the popular pastime can look forward confidently to a splendid day’s sport.

Great Interest will be taken in the Champion Plate, an event for the cream of the speed merchants, and the race, with its short limit, will be a most spectacular and exciting one. “Abaydos” anticipates that the following will find favour with the public in their respective engagements: Oak Handicap.—Bright Light, Gold Star.
