i H an engine jerks when travelling i low speed when in high gear it I means that the motor is missing, and ; there are several reasons why an engine may miss on low speed and yet j hit on all the cylinders at higher rate |of speed. The breaking points may j have worn rough or a trifle too far apart; the spark plug points may need j setting up; one or more valves may ! leak; the mixture may not be suitable • for slow running. So if you test out j j all these possible causes you should be ] able to locate the cause of your en- | gine jerking. [
