The breaking points may j have worn rough or a trifle too far apart; the spark plug points may need j setting up; one or more valves may ! leak; the mixture may not be suitable • for slow running. So if you test out j j all these possible causes you should be ] able to locate the cause of your en- | gine jerking. [
