AUSTRALIANS PAY £2,500,000 WEEKLY
OVER 6,000,000 people pay £2,500,000 each week in Australia to visit pictures, making the film industry the third largest in the Commonwealth. That is some of the information gleaned by the Royal Commission, which since its inception has asked witnesses over 33,000 questions. The Commission has arrived at several decisions which will not be affected by the examination of the five remaining witnesses in Sydney.
