Georgia Hale, a year ago believed to be one of Paramount’s best leads, has broken with that company and gone home. m Sub-titles for Paramount pictures are translated into 37 languages, the pictures going into countries all over the world. Richard Dix is supported in “The Travelling Salesman’’ by Wade Boteler, Thelma Todd, Lis© Conley and Ford Sterling. Lloyd Hamilton is working in three pictures at once, so heavily do the comedy studios go in for efficiency these days. Joan Crawford is wearing a red wig in “Rose Marie,” the movie adaptation of the light opera. The hair photographs black. Anne Nichols’s “Abie’s Irish Rose,” is going into the movies. Paramount will make the highly profitable dramatic offering into a scenario. The City of Sin ” a story of the Chinese coast, will have Myrna Loy, John Miljan, Richard Tucker and Leila Hyams in principal roles. Four pictures are in production at the "Warner Brothers’ studio. Irene Rich is engaged in making a comedydrama called “Beware of Married Men.” In the supporting cast are Stuart Holmes, Audrey Ferris, Richard Tucker. Myrna Loy and Clyde Cook.
