Sir Hugh Denison, the Australian Commissioner in the United States, addressing the British Empire Chamber of Commerce, said he was returning to Australia to confer with the Prime Minister and Cabinet upon the advancement of the United States and Australian trade balance. Pie advocated increased trade representation in each country from the other. He said he had been unable to do the work as he would- like, and added that the Australian Government had not been displeased with his work, but with the results the Australian representatives had been able to achieve in the United States. Mr. Fred Brown spoke briefly of tin production in Queensland and said he hoped the United States would prove an aid in production. He stated that Australia was able to provide tin, the need for which was felt greatly in the United States and elsewhere at present,-—A. and N.Z, _
