WHITE N.Z. LEAGUE

PUKEKOHE BRANCH At the meeting of the White New Zealand League in Pukekohe last night, it was stated by the secretary, Mr. G. T. Parvin, that there were now four branches of the league—at Pukekohe, Wellington, Auckland and Gisborne. The president of the Wellington branch was taking up the matter of the formation of a branch at Christchurch. Some of the aims of the league had now been accomplished, but there was still need for vigilance and effort. It was decided to ask the Government to introduce legislation making it compulsory for Asiatics arriving in the Dominion to register. It was also decided to ask the Government to prohibit Asiatics in New Zealand employing female labour.
