DELAY BY RAIN The report of the Taranaki Oilfields, Ltd., for the w'eek ending December 17, is given below; Waiapu No. 2 well: Depth 2,810 ft; Bsin diameter casing to 2,800 ft; no change. Gisborne No. 1 well: Depth, 1,925 ft in sand; B£in diameter casing to 1,905 ft. Gisborne No. 2 well: Transport in progress, but delayed by rain.
