They had an enthusiastic reception here, and they said the playing conditions in the southern Republic wer§ on a par with those anywhere else. Borotra said the trio were looking forward keenly to their visit to Australia. They will go to Philadelphia to-morrow, where they will play several team matches. They then go to Chicago, and leave there on Saturday for San Francisco, where they will depart for Australia.—A. and N.Z.
