YOUNG BURGLAR’S PLEA NOMINAL sentence imposed John Bernard McDonald, a younp: man, appeared for sentence at the Supreme Court to-day on a charge of breaking and entering at Dannevirke. Accused asked his Honour to consider the facts that the charge had lieen standing against him for a long time, and that he was already serving a term of three years’ imprisonment. His Honour, Mr. Justice Reed, said be would consider th6se points, and sentenced accused to 12 months’ imprisonment, to be concurrent with his present term.
