RELIEF EXPENDITURE. —In his statement to the Auckland Hospital Board yesterday, Mr. William Wallace pointed out that £22,000 placed on the estimates for relief had already been expended. “The board commenced the year with an overdraft of £14,000,” he said, “and the way things are going it will finish with an overdraft of about £30,000.”
