Mrs. J. Lamb Harvey has returned to town from Campbell's Bay. Mrs. G. H. Tancred, of Ladies* Mile, Remuera, is spending the summer months at Ocean View Road, Milford. Mr. and Mrs. John Frater and family aro at Saltburn Road, Takapuna, for the summer holidays. Miss Olive Grainger, of Wellington, is on a visit to Auckland, and is staying with Mrs. W. E. Bush, Remuera. Miss Hinemoa Hole, of Christchurch, is visiting Auckland. Mrs. Ruddock, of Havelock North, is on a visit to her brother, the Rev. W. E. Lush, Ayr Street, Parnell. Mrs. H. Marsack is visiting Wanganui. Miss L. MacLaren. of Timaru, is on a visit to Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. Tucker, of Auckland, are visitors to Timaru. Mrs. B. Jefferson is leaving this week on a motor trip to Rotorua, where she intends to spend the Christmas holidays. Mrs. Paul Kavanagh returned by the Aorangi from Sydney, where she has been spending a three months’ holiday. Mrs. Murison has arrived from Wellington and is staying with her- mother, Mrs. A. G. Graham, Beaview Road, Remuera. Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Matthews and Mr. and Mrs. Percy Thompson, of Sydney, are visiting Auckland, and are staying at Hotel Mon Hesir, Takapuna. Mrs. Ernest Livermore, who has been on a visit to England and the Continent, has returned and is the guest of Hr. and Mrs. Hay, of Taihape. * * * Mr. and Mrs. A. de Jongh arrived from Sydney by the Maunganul on a holiday visit. They will stay at Takapuna while in Auckland. * * * Miss Frances Ilowden, of Wellington, daughter of Hr. Howden, is spending her holidays at Rotorua, and is the guest of her cousin, Miss Nancy Rendell. Mount Eden. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Bright, Mrs. A. Herd man and Mrs. R. Ramsay Morton, of Remuera, are among the guests staying at Hotel Mon Hesir. Takapuna. Miss Margery Macfarlane is leaving this evening for Christchurch, where she will take part in the New Zealand champonsliip tennis matches commencing on Monday. Among the guests staying at the Mansion House, Kawau, are: Mr. and Mrs. Berkeley Stafford, Hants, England; Messrs. Coriton and Amory, Devonshire, England; Mr. and Mrs, H. A. Stone, Vancouver; Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Brooker, New Plymouth; Mr. and Mrs. Browning, Melbourne. * <= * Mr. and Mrs. Mcßae Peacock, of Mangerc, are spending a holiday at the Mansion House, Kawau. Mr. and Mrs. H. Robson leave to-day for a motor trip through the North Island. * * * Mrs. R. Winter, of Parnell, leaves tomorrow for Rotorua. Mrs. 11. Bright, of Epsom, is spending a holiday in Rotorua. * * & Mr. and Mrs. W. Wilson, of Remuera, left yesterday by car for a visit to Wellington. Mrs. K. Raymond leaves Auckland on Friday evening for Wellington, where she will spend Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tipper left Auckland last evening for a long holiday in Okoroire and IlotorUfTT Mrs. H. Lane, the well-known writer under the name of “Gwen Merritt/* arrived in Auckland this morning from New Plymouth, and is staying at Royal Court. * ♦ * Mr. and M.rs. E. O.
