WANGANUI ROMPS IN TARANAKI LOSES BY INNINGS Press Association . NEW PLYMOUTH, Tuesday. Wanganui won the Hawke Cup from Taranaki by an innings and 67 runs. In reply to Taranaki’s first innings score of 224, Wangamfi completed its innings to-day for 430. The Taranaki batsmen in the second innings failed completely, compiling only 139 runs. A notable feature of the firatch was the success of Wanganui’s colts. Bunny and Kerr. The former is a Wanganui College representative.
