SMALL BOY DROWNED
CANTERBURY FATALITY Press Association ASHBURTON, To-day. A three-year-old boy, Ronald Balford, was drowned at Tinwald last evening. H© was staying with his grandfather, Mr. W. Bryant, and went out into a field with his uncle aged 17, and while the latter was engaged in turning over hay, the child wandered away. His body was found in a creek nearby.
