REDEDICATION CEREMONY The rededication of St. Stephen’s Chapel, which occupied a commanding position in St. Stephen’s cemetery, overlooking Judge’s Bay, is to take place bn Boxing Day (St. Stephen's Day), at 6.30 a.m. The chapel has been in disuse for many years, but. the ecclesiastica authorities, recognising the historic value of the building, decided in October to recommission it. The historic value of the structure Is enhanced by the fact that the constitution of the Church of England in New Zealand was signed within its precincts in 1857.
