GOVERNMENT’S CONCERN Now that the Government is in the position of contractor for tlie Arapuni hydro-electric works, the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates, has given his assurance that every step will be taken to have the job finished within the stipulated time—lß months. None was more concerned about the delay than the Government, and while the Public Works Department was equally anxious to provide the power it also had a repLitation to uphold.
