SMITH'S ENDURANCE FLIGHT "ALL SATISFACTORY” By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Reed. 11.48 a.m. SAN FRANCISCO, Sunday. Captain Kingsford Smith took off at 8.23 i a.m. for his endurance flight. The ’plane ran 2,500 feet down the runway, and took the air after 35 seconds. The visibility is excellent, and there is a mild breeze. At noon the Spirit of California had been up more than three and a-half hours. She sent a radio message that all was satisfactory.—A. and N.Z.
