In the Sheffield Shield match New South Wales against South Australia the visitors yesterday carried their score to 519 (Kippax 143, Bradman 11 S). Scott took four wickets for 99. South Australia in the first innings have lost one wicket for 208 (Harris 77, Schneider 85 not out. Richardson not out 34). The weather was fine and the wicket perfect. Kippax, recovered from his previous day’s Illness, played a magnificent innings, and Bradman kept pace with him. scoring from fine off shots and badly punishing the bowling.
