PENNANT bowling was advanced a further .stage on Saturday when the third round of the cQmpetition was played off. In A section Carlton, with 20 teams in the field, maintains its lead. Takapuna leads the list in the B section. Throughout the afternoon many other interesting club and inter-club games were keenly contested.
