BODIES NOT RECOVERED Despite a close search made during the week-end no trace has been discovered of the bodies of Mr. H. Francis and the boy, Robert Huyton, who were drowned as a result of the capsizing of a sailing boat in French Bay, near Titirangi, on Friday evening. Mr. R. Huyton, father of the boy, who was rescued and later taken to the Auckland Hospital as a result of an attack of pneumonia, is reported to be making good progress.

Cyclist Injured.—Through colliding with a stationary motor-car, Frank Jack, aged 16 years, a son of Mr. D. T. Jack, city trajc inspector, fractured his right shoulder this morning. The accident occurred in Great South Road, near the Dilworth Institute. The lad had just begun work with the firm of A. and T. Burt.
