NIAGARA FOR SYDNEY.—At present en route fropi Vancouver, via the Union Company advises that the K_M . . Niagara is at Auckland on Monday. Jaimary 2. and is announced to sail from here at 10 p.m. on Tuesday. January 3, for Sydney. TURAKINA POSTPONED.—The Njv Zealand Shipping Company advises Uu*t the steamer Turakina, now completing at Wellington, has been delayed and now sails this afternoon for London. Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow. via Panama. CARGO FROM NEW YORK.—The C. and D. Line reports that the Manchester Merchant is to sail from New York today with general cargo for New Zealand ports. She will be followed by the Tasmania. which is to sail from New York in February, also for Dominion ports. SURREY TO LOAD.—It is reported by the New Zealand Shipping Company that the Surrey is to leave Brisbane to-day for Tokomaru Bay, to commence loading for London. The vessel will subsequently load also at Auckland and other ports yet to be announced.

TAMAROA FROM HOME.—Duo at Wellington to-morrow evening from London ancl Southampton, the Shaw, SavilJ and Albion steamer Tamaroa should arrive at Auckland about Christmas Day to complete her discharge of cargo and to commence loading for her return voyage. PACIFIC TRANSPORT DELAYED.— Henderson and Macfarlane advises that the tramp steamer Pacific Transport, ; which arrived at Wellington yesterday : from Westport for stores, has been de- J layed at Wellington waiting for sailing orders. The vessel will eventually pro- j ceed to Nauru Island to load for Australia. KUROW REPORTS.—According to a radio message received by the Union Company, the collier Kurow is expected to arrive in the stream at Auckland at 6 o’clock to-morrow morning from Newcastle. After pratique has been granted the vessel will berth at the Western Wharf ROTORUA HOME.—Cable advice received by the local office of the Union Company states that the liner Rotorua, which loaded in New Zealand and sailed from Wellington on November 10 for Southampton and London, via Panama, arrived at Southampton last Thursday morning. WAIHEMO AT SINGAPORE.—CabIed news received by the Union Company is that the Waiherao arrived at Singapore on Wednesday from Penang, to continue loading for Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is expected to clear Singapore to-day for Samarang to complete. WEST ELCAJON FOR NEW ZEALAND.—Confirmation has been received by Henderson and Macfarlane that the American steamer West Elcajon left Los Angeles on December 11_ with Pacific Coast cargo for discharge at Auckland, .Napier, Wellington and Lyttelton. The vessel is expected to arrive here on January 6. CARGO FROM LONDON.—The C. and D. Line advises that the Port Adelaide is to sail from London on February 1 with general cargo to discharge at Wellington, Auckland and New Plymouth. The vessel is due at Wellington on April 10. She is to be followed by the Port Fremantle, which will sail from London on March 14 for New’ Zealand ports. SILVER SHELL SAILING. Having completed- the discharge of the local portion of her cargo (5,000 tons) of bulk oil from Singapore, the tanker Silver Shell is to be dispatched this evening for Wellington to complete discharging the remaining 3,000 tons. The British Imperial Oil Company advises that from the capital city the Silver Shell is to return to the States to load. HORORATA'S ITINERARY.-The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Hororata is completing discharge, and is loading at Wellington. The Hororata will leave Wellington on December 27 to load at Timaru, and Port Chalmers, and will return thence to Wellington, where she is due on January 9. From Wellington the vessel will proceed to Napier and Auckland. The Hororata is due here on January 16 and is to sail finally from Auckland on January 21 for New York, Halifax and London. TRANSPACIFIC CARGO STEAMERS. —The Union Company advises the follow- , ing movements of steamers engaged in the trails-Pacific cargo services:— The Waikawa is now at New Plymouth completing discharge of her inward cargo. She will leave Westport about December 22 for Yancouvr, .San Francisco and Los Angeles. The Waitemata, from Melbourne, arrived at Sydney on Wednesday to complete discharge. She will clear Sydney on Decmber 24 for Vancouver, San Francisco and Los Angeles, via Suva. The Wairuna left San Francisco on December 10 for Auckland, Wellington, Beauty Point, Melbourne, and Sydney. She is due at Auckland about January The Hauraki from Sydney was to have, left Suva yesterday evening for Vancouver and San Francisco. She is due at Vancouver about January 2. The Waiotapu from Sydney, via Suva, Fanning Island and Honolulu, arrived at Vancouver on December 12, and will load at Powell River and Union Bay, clearing the latter port about December 21 for San Francisco direct. She will proceed thence to Los Angeles to complete loading for Auckland. Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. The forward loading dates at the Pacific Coast are approximately as follow: The Ilauraki will load at Vancouver and San Francisco in January for Auckland (possibly Wellington), Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. The Waikawa will load at Vancouver, San Francisco and Los Angeles, late January and early February for Papeete. Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff and New Plymouth. The Waitemata will load at Vancouver San Francisco and Los Angeles late in January and early in February for Apia, Auckland (possibly Wellington), Melbourne and Sydney. The Wairuna will load at Vancouver and San Francisco during March for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. The Waiotapu will load at Vancouver and San Francisco early in April for New eZaland and Australian ports.
