THE THIRD RAMONA
DOLORES DEL RIO’S ROLE When Dolores del Rio acts in “Ramona,” she will be the third picture actress to play the part. Helen Hunt Jackson’s famous novel was scenarised in 1910, when Mary Pickford, who played Ramona, was unknown. Clune made a second production in 1915, and it is now being fimled by Inspiration Pictures, with Dolores del Rio as Ramona and Warner Baxter as Alessandro.
