I J —l The dressing table of a famous actress is apt to reveal her character. Norma’s dressing table is a businesslike affair, loaded with the props of makeup and decorated only with a few framed photographs. There are two of her sister, Constance, several of the Buster Keaton youngsters and one of Joseph Schenck, the star’s husband. Certain articles are found on every actress’s dressing table. Most important of all is the cold cream and Norma uses a special variety made for her from an old recipe used by Sarah Bernhardt. rr —■ There is grease

Norma’s dressing table holds a regiment of scent bottles and an ivory toilet set. A circular magnifying mirror stands at the centre of the table. It is surrounded with powerful electric lights. A full length triplicate mirror stands nearby for the final critical survey without which the actress never leaves her dressing room.
