BRITAIN PAYS £18,515,000 STILL OWES £896,000,000 British Wireless—Press Assn. —Copyright RUGBY, Wednesday. A payment of £18,515,000 is being made to-day by the British Government to the United States Treasury. Of this sum an amount of £5,000,000 is on account of the repayment of principal, the balance being for interest. With this payment, the total payments to the United States since the funding of the British debt amount to £160,596,000, of which £25,000,000 has been on account of the repayment of principal.
