Oamaru Club Will Race at Wingatui
'INTERESTING PROGRAMME SIX RACES AND TWO TROTS The Oam&ru Club is to hold a meeting at Wingatui, Dunedin, to-morrow, and indications are that the Southern club will record a successful fixture. It is interesting to note that the two Auckland Cup candidates in Battlement and Ark Royal are among those accepted for in the principal event. There are six gallops and two trots on the programme. If conditions are normal the following will be well supported in their engagements: Jumpers’ Flat. Coastguard and Wharncliffe. Xovice Stakes.—Rin Tin Tin and Tembroney. Oaraaru Cup.—Pink Note and Celerity If. Waikaura Trot. Kibiringi and Stockade Junior. Flying Handicap.— Receipt and Royal Saxon. Grange Handicap.—Appian Way and Money Mine.
