Attention is called to instances of illegal and wasteful uses of City water, and consumers are requested to exercise ery care in the use of water during the ensuing dry season. Attention is directed to Section 553 of By-law No. 1, which reads as follows: "No person being supplied with water by the Council from the Waterworks, having access to such waterworks for the taking of water therefrom, shall wilfully or negligently suffer any water to run to waste from any pipe tap, or other apparatus from or by which he shall be so supplied, or to which he shall have such access,” *“ connection with the use of hoses, and it is provided by Section 552 of By-law No. 1 that in every such case the hose shall be used only when held in the hand.
