FOOTBALLER INJURED Press Association. DUNEDIN, To-day. R. Kenning, the well-known Otago Central footballer, was riding a cycle near Matakanui, when he was rushed by a bull. After being tossed twice he managed to crawl through a wire fence. As well as being badly bruised, he received a deep wound eight inches long in the leg and lost a lot of blood before being taken to hospital.
