Wickstead, Duffin. Fookes, 27, v. Miller, Elliott, Keat, Warren, 23. ST. HELIERS CLUB The pairs tournament played on the i>L Heliers green was played in gJorlotiA weather. Sixteen teams competed. Chapman and Parrons (Ponsonby) won the A section with 5 wins, while Hawk and Russell (Ponsonby) and Hetherington and Bridger (Epsom) tied in the B section with 4 wins each. Russell won the play-ofT and will meet Parrons in the final on a dale to be arranged. Yachting TO-MORROW’S REGATTA VICTORIA CLUB’S EVENTS Largo entries hav© been received in most classes for the Victoria Cruisinfe Club’s annual regatta to be held tomorrow afternoon. Th© 22-footers, however, show a decided falling oft and the launch entries are not so numer* ous as those of last year. Apart froqx these classes the number of competitors shows a general increase. All the events will start and finish off a flagship moored off St. Mary’s Bay boat harbour. A special general handicap will be held for the T X and Y classes, the first prize being a suit of sails given by Mr. P. D. Leah. The racing officials will be: Starter, Mr. O. Johnson; judge, Mr. W. Matthews; timekeepers, Messrs. J. O’Sullivan, H. Growl and J. McGehan. The starting times for the various races are as follows: Launches, 2.30 p.ra : keel yachts, 2.40; IT class, 2.50; D class, 3; N class, 3.10; S clans, 3.20;, T, X and Y classes, 3.30; V class, 3.40;; M class, 3.40; Z class, 3.50. MANUKAU CRUISING CLUB HARBOUR RACES TO-MORROW Races for yachts and launches will bo held to-morrow afternoon by the Manukau Cruising Club over the usual harbour courses. BURT CUP LAUNCH RACES Considerable interest is being taken in the Burt Cup launch race to b© held to-morrow by the New Zealand Power-Boat Association. The rules for this race provide that the competing launches shall be steered by women.
