Tlie Prime Minister of Italy, Signor Mussolini, in an interview with a French newspaper correspondent, said the Franco-Italian friendship would assure the peace of the world. France and Italy had been made to understand each other. “The situation between them may be sometimes marked by stormy hours,” he said, “but the storm will never come to a head, for we are brothers, and we love each other well, in spite of our differences.” —A.-and N.Z.-Sun.
