Air temperature at 9 a.m., 60 degrees. Temperature in shade yesterday: maximum, 67 degrees; minimum, 56 degrees; minimum temperature in sun, 136 degrees. Bright sunshine yesterday, S hours, 35 minutes. Minimum temperature on grass. 51 degrees Direction of wind at 10 a.m., W. Velocity wind previous 24 hours, 185 miles. Kain fall during previous 24 hours. .01 Inches. Rainfall to date this month, .49 inches. NORTH ISLAND CONDITIONS Observations taken at 10 a.m.:—
