AUSTRALIAN’S GIFTS TO AUCKLAND GALLERY

MR. NORMAN G. CLARK, of Melbourne, an enthusiastic admirer of the work of Carlyle Jackson, one of the younger Australian water-colourists, has presented a picture by this artist to the Auckland Art Gallery. “Harvest Time, Goulburn Valley,” is the title of the gift. Mr. Clark, who was in Auckland a few months ago, has also presented a Doulton Sung vase. Similar gifts have been made by this donor to the Dunedin Gallery.
