BIG DEBENTURE ISSUE By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. Reed. 9.20 a.m. LONDON, Tues. The Berlin correspondent ot the “Daily Chronicle” says that the German Dye Trust proposes to issue £12,500,000 in 6 per cent. debentures. It is understood that the money will be utilised for extending operations in the production ot oils and motor fuel, also ammonia and other by-products, from huge brown coal deposits in Saxony. For developing the processes, the trust requires a large capital. The Dye Trust, in a statement, says it is about to sign an agreement with the French chemical industry, but negotiations with the English chemical industry have not yet led to a tangible result.—A. and N.Z.

STOCK MARKET FRANKTON SALE (Special to THE SUN.) HAMILTON, To-day. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Ltd., report on the weekly stock market:—At Frankton yards yesterday there was a good yarding of fat cattle and sheep and a large yarding of fat and store pigs. Store cattle came forward in small numbers. Competition for beef and mutton was a little easier. Fat and store pigs were on a par with late rates. We quote: Beef: Heavy, fat steers, £ll 2s to £ll ss: unfinished sorts, £S 15s; prime fat heifers, £8 10s; fat heifers, £7 9s to £7 17s 6d; heavy fat cows, £7 Is to £7 10s; lighter sorts, £5 11s to £6 4s; unfinished, £4 12s to £4 3 ss; store cows, £1 15s to £2; fouryear steers. £7 12s 6d; choice Jersey 15-months heifers, £6 4s; others, £3 11s; dairy heifers. £5 15s to £6 10s. Sheep: Prime fat wethers, 275: fat wethers, 24s 6d to 25s 4d: others, 22s 6d: prime fat ewes, 21s; fat ewes, 17s to 18s. Fat lambs were yarded in small numbers and competition was keen, only one pen making 275. Pigs: Heavy baconers, £2 9s to £2 12s: light, £2 to £2 7s; heavy porkers, £2 5s to £2 8s; light, 38s to £2 2s; slips, 20s to 265; weaners, best, 15s to 20s; others, 9s to 13s.
