BIBLE IN SCHOOLS
THE NELSON SYSTEM Recommendations to extend the Nelson system of Bible reading in schools and to appoint married women as teachers are among the questions to be considered at the Auckland Primary School Committees’ Association's quarterly meeting to be held in the Teachers’ Institute, Wellesley Street East, at 7.30 p.m. to-morrow. The president intends to bring forward a proposal to extend the life of school committees from one year to two years. The meeting will also consider the question of the medical examination of children.
