NEWS AND NOTES SPORTS MOTOR-CYCLE CLUB Xo club run was. held during: the week-end, as most of the members were competing in the Auckland Motor Racing Club’s races on Saturday. Xext week-end, a social run and sports will be held at Ferndale, leaving from Western Springs at 10 a.m. HARLEY-DAVIDSON CLUB A run to liunua Falls was held by the club during the week-end, a good number of sidecar outfits taking part. A notable part of the run was the number of ladies whro ventured out. One and all thoroughly enjoyed the run. The Ferndale run has been postponed and a run to Muritai substituted. It is thought that lull advantage should be taken of the summer weather to enjoy the longer trips, leaving shorter trips for the winter season. This evening a committee meeting will be held at Merson’s, Symonds Street, at 7.40 o’clock. The monthly meeting of the- club will be held next Monday evening at Mersons, Symonds Street, at 7.40 o’clock, when matters of business will be dealt with.
