KUROW FOR AUCKLAND. The Union Company advises that the collier Kurow was to leave Newcastle yesterday with a full cargo of coal for discharge at Auckland. The vessel is due here on Monday next.
WAIHEMO AT PENANG. —Cabled news received by the Union Company reports that the Waihemo arrived at Penang on Friday morning. The vessel will load there, and complete at Singapore and Samarang for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. CARGO FOR THE ISLANDS. The local office of the Union Company has been advised that the Waitemata leaves Sydney on December 21 for Lautoka. Suva and Vancouver. The vessel is also taking cargo for Tonga and Samoa for transhipment at Suva to the Tofua. . SOUTHERN CROSS DUE. - Although not vet sighted in the Hauraki Gulf, the Melanesian Mission steamer Southern Cross is expected to arrive at Auckland short.lv from another of her extended cruises to the Pacific Islands. She will berth at Queen’s Wharf upon arrival. PORT FREMANTLE LOADING. —Heather, Roberton, and Co. advise that the C. and D. Line’s motor-ship Port Fremantle, now loading at Auckland, leaves here at daybreak to-morrow for Gisborne, thence Lyttelton, Wellington, and from the latter port on December :-0 for London, via Panama. SILVER SHELL TO-MORROW.-From Singapore, with a cargo of bulk oil. the Shell Line tanker Silver Shell has re - ported by wireless that she will arrive at Auckland to-morrow afternoon, and will berth at Western Wharf. The British Imperial Oil Company are the local agents. LAMB STEAMER SAILING. After discharging part of her cargo of hardwood timber and piles at Central vv harf. the Lamb steamer Omana is to leave at 10 o’clock this evening for Tauranga. Gisborne and Napier to complete. Later she will proceed to Hokianga to load timber for Australia. WEST TOGUS COMING. Cabled advice received by Henderson and Macfarline states that the American steamer West Togus sailed from Los Angeles on December 7 with Pacific Coast cargo for discharge at Auckland, Melbourne, Sydney The vessel is due here on January 2. WAIPAHI ARRIVES. Shortly before one o’clock this afternoon the Union Company’s Island fruit steamer Waipahi arrived in the stream at Auckland from Fiji. After pratique was granted, the vessel was to berth at the King’s,Wharf. The Waipahi is expected to leave here to-morrow evening for Lyttelton Direct and Dunedin. KERSTEN MILES WITH CASE OIL. —With case oil for discharge at Auckland, Wellington and Australian ports, the German tramp steamer Kersten Miles sailed from Port Arthur (Texas) on November 23 for Auckland, where she is expected on January 6. Henderson and Macfarlane will act as the local agent's for the vessel. REMUERA DELAYED. The departure of the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Remuera from Auckland has been postponed from 3 p.m. to-day until 6 a.m. to-morrow, when she will leave here for Southampton and London via Panama. Passengers are required to embark this evening. GISLA REPORTS. According to a radio message received by the New Zealand Shipping Company, the tramp steamer Gisla is expected to arrive in the stream at Auckland to-morrow evening from Montreal. The vessel is bringing cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne and Sydney. PORT HARDY SAILS THURSDAY.— Now completing her loading at the Prince’s Wharf, the C. and D. Line’s steamer Port Hardy is expected to leave Auckland on Thursday evening- for New York, Boston, Halifax, and London, via Panama. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company are the local agents. AORANGI ARRIVES SUNDAY. The local office of the Union Company has been advised that the R.M.M.S. Aorangi, which leaves Sydney on Thursday afternoon for Auckland, arrives here next Sunday afternoon. She is announced to leave Auckland at 11 a.m. on Tuesday next for Suva, Honolulu, Victoria and Vancouver. HINEMOA DUE THURSDAY.—At daybreak on Thursday the Government steamer Hinemoa is due at Auckland from Niue Island. On pecember 22 the vessel will receive cargo for Norfolk Island. Spedding, Ltd., the local agents, hope to dispatch the Hinemoa for Auckland on December 28 for Norfolk Island. SYDNEY STEAMERS.—The l.'limaroa arrived at Wellington at 11 o'clock this morning from Sydney and leaves at 11 a.m. on Friday on her return trip to Sydney. Both the Marama from Auckland and the Maunganui from Wellington are due at Sydney this morning, the former vessel sailing for Wellington and the latter for Auckland on Friday afternoon next at three o’clock. CANADIAN SEIGNEUR ARRIVING. —From Montreal, the Canadian Government steamer Canadian Seigneur arrives at Auckland this evening at seven o’clock. The vessel, which is bringing a cargo of general) merchandise, will berth at Central Wharf to discharge the local portion of her cargo, proceeding later to \\ ellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, and Dunedin to complete. HORORATA SAILS.—To complete her discharge, and to commence loading for her return voyage, the New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Hororata sailed from Auckland this morning for Wellington. The vessel is to return to Auckland on January 16 to complete loading, and is scheduled to sail finally from this port on January 21 for London, via Panamfe. PORT CURTIS DUE TO-MORROW.— Due at Auckland late to-night or early to-morrow morning from Napier, the C. and D. Line’s steamer Port Curtis will load frozen meat here under the auspices of Heather, Roberton, and Co. for Port Said. It is hoped to dispatch the vessel to-morrow evening or Thursday morning for Australia, where she completes loading for Egypt, Continent, and the United Kingdom.
