INQUEST FORMALLY OPENED

An inquest was opened before Mr. A. Young, S.M., when, after evidence of identification had been given, the proceedings were adjourned until Tuesday. Archibald Campbell, of Fendalton, a brother-in-law of the dead man, identified Foster's body. He last saw Foster about three weeks ago, when he seemed to be all right. As far as the witness knew, Foster and his wife lived on good terms, and seemed bright and cheerful.
