The Monarch of the Railroad—the great 6100 Type of Canadian National Engine, 93 feet long, 15 feet high, and weighing over 320 tons, moves slowly out of Vancouver Station. There are quite a number of New Zealanders aboard, just arrived by the R.M.S. “Niagara." Some are picturing to themselves the wonderful time they are going to have at Jasper National Park, situated in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. They are going boating on tranquil lakes, motoring amidst glorious mountains, perhaps a game of tennis or a swim in the beautiful Jasper baths. In the evening they will dance or go to the movies, or just watch the glorious sunset. From Jasper they intend making quite a number of stop-overs and to visit the Niagara Falls. Montreal, Quebec, or New York are reached all too soon. Truly a wonderful trip by the CANADIAN NATIONAL RAILWAYS, whose trains connect with the R.M.S. “Niagara" and R.M.M.S. “Aorangi" at Vancouver. The Fares and all particulars may be had from the CANADIAN NATIONAL RAILWAY’S OFFICE, 21 Ferry Building, Auckland, Or any Agent. TRAVEL WITH THE SUM AUCKLAND-PUKEKOHE MOTOR-BUS SERVICE.
