NON-SUIT ACCEPTED REGISTRAR TO INVESTIGATE The claim for £2,000 damages brought by Dr. and Mrs. W. A. Alexander, of Takapuna (Mr. Fiddes) against Dr. D. J. Millar, of Royal Oak (Air. Richmond) was concluded yesterday afternoon, when Mr. Fiddes accepted a non-suit on the two causes of action. The claim was instituted by the plaintiffs on the grounds that the defendant had misrepresented the value of his practice and house at Takapuna. Argument and evidence extended ! over a period of three days. It was at the suggestion of Mr. j Justice Reed that Mr. Fiddes agreed ! to accept a non-suit, on the understanding that all the books relevant to ' the case should be left with the Regisj trar for investigating.
