MARLBOROUGH BEATS NELSON IN HAWKE CUP CRICKET
Press Association BLENHEIM, Friday. The Hawke Cup preliminary match, Nelson v. Marlborough, had an exciting finish, the home team winning by 10 runs. Nelson started their second innings wanting 166 to win. Runs came freely, and at the tea adjournment five wickets were down for 105.
