SPRINTERS PENALISED

THE two sprint races at Woodville this week were won byhorse engaged in the Railway Handicap at Ellerslie on Boxing Day. These were Royal Damon and the three-year-old Cimabue, and for their successes, both easily obtained, each has been penalised 31b. Royal Damon and Cimabue were handicapped at 7.13 and 7.12 respectively; now they will have to carry 8.2 and 8.1.
