WOMAN’S DISCOVERY RETURNED SOLDIER’S FATE (Special to THE SUH.) CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. On answering a ring at her doorbell at 9.20 p.m. yesterday, Mrs. Mansen, of Peterborough Street, found the body of a man lying with the feet toward the door and the head on the lawn. The police, who were summoned, took the man to the public hospital, where it was found that he was lead The man has been identified as John Dunnett, aged. 39, farmer, of Timaru. He was a returned soldier and is believed to have been gassed. He was on a visit to Christchurch and was to have returned to Timaru to-day.
