A very successful bazaar, Christmas Tree and dance was held yesterday afternoon and evening by the IVlangere East Anglican parishioners. The proceeds of the function, are to be devoted to the restoration funds of the church. During the afternoon and early evening th*e sale of work and Christmas
tree held sway, and good business was transacted in all quarters. The following women were in charge of the various stalls: Produce, Mesdames Keys, Newson, and Laslett . fancy, Mes. dames Scown, Burrett and Ford; tearooms, Mesdames Monteith, Outfield, McDonald. Hallberry, and Miss Burrell: sweets. Misses Timms, B. Key, B, Newson and M. Stean: Christmas tree, Mrs. Massey, Misses Hallberry, Brindle, and Sigley. Later in the evening dancing waj indulged in to music supplied by Tidmarsh’s orchestra. A couple of pleasing extras were played by Miss McCnw, and Mr. A. Paine ' ably fulfilled the j duties of M.C.
