TE KUITI STOCK SALE
VALUES MAINTAINED (From Our Own Correspondent) TE KUITI, Thursday. There was a good demand for all classes at the Te Kuiti stock sale yesterday. Sheep continue to bring high values, store two-tooth wethers making 22s 2d and aged ewes and lambs 19s, all counted. Three lots of nice-quality fat steers from Kopaki sold from £9 10s up to £ll 10s: other killable steers, £S 10s to £8 16s; grown forward steers, £6 15s to £7 6s; killable cows, lacking in quality, £4 5s to £5 10s; store cows, £3 to £3 10s; IS-months steers, £4.
