TOM LOWRY MAKES CENTURY SCORE IN HIS FIRST CLUB GAME SINCE ENGLISH TOUR

]\JAK I NG his first appearance in club cricket since his return from England, Tom Lowry scored , a brilliant century for his old club Heretaunga in Hawke’s Bay on Saturday. Against Technical Old Boys, Lowry . and Beuth put on/ over 200 runs for the second wicket. When I stumps were 3 drawn, Lowry was 126 not out, and Beuth 100, not out, Heretaunga’s total being 252 for one wicket. This big partnership recalls the fact that the same pair figured in a double century partnership for Hawke’s Bay against Manawatu last season.
