N.Z. LEAGUERS IN ENGLAND
TAESMOND, the New Zealand League footballer who went home to England recently, played his first match for Leeds late in October. The ex-League All Black scored two tries, and the "Athletic News” comments on his display as follows:—"Desmond made an excellent debut. He scored finely, in addition to participating in many combined moves.” F. Buckingham, the Waikato Rugby player, reached England in October, and when the last mails left was in training for his first appearance with the Swinton Club.
