BOATS CAUGHT IN ICE
TRAGEDY OF SEA FIFTY FISHERMEN LOST By Cable. —Press Association. — Copyright. MOSCOW, Wednesday. Airplanes which were sent from Astrakhan in search of an overdue fishing fleet found 300 fishing boats, which were held up in the icefloes in the Caspian Sea. Fifteen vessels are missing, with their crews, which total, about 50 fishermen. It is believed they are lost. Steps are being taken to rescue the remainder.—A. and N.Z.
