Many speedsters fined (from Our Own Correspondent) PUKEKOHE, To-day. As a sequel to a police trap set on Great South Road through Pokeno batch of speedsters appeared in the fU*®kohe Court vesterday before Mr G - L. Hewitt. S.M. ..Arthur Horton. who travelled at £*-25 m.p.h., H. E. Harris, 375. M. O. Kl dd. 39 a-23, D. Campbell, 39 3-23 F. Elliott. 375. were each fined £ 1 “Qd costs. C. J. Western, 41 m.p.h., was -ned £i 103. and P. F. Nash, who said ' ® had given chase to a car which kis, was fined £1 f° r - 6-7 miles. H. Drummond, 36, H. W Jones 36. and J. H. McDonald 3b each mulcted 10s. _ j_Motor-cyclists fined were: C. Gold--45, £2; E. F. Lisk and O *6 10? Pear ’ 37i, £1; and N. E. Lind.
